Psychosomatic specialist, medical psychologist, conscious breathing practitioner
In my view, a person is a wonderful, complex being who does not fully realise their potential. The first time I tried a conscious breathing session, I felt a powerful transformative force, which I achieved solely through my breathing; and over time, during these breathing sessions, I resolved an internal conflict that had lasted for years and manifested itself in recurring panic attacks. Later, whilst studying psychology, I decided to complement my practice with the knowledge of a conscious breathing instructor, so that I could share this and help others to recognise and trust in their own strength. I believe in the human capacity for self-healing, and certain conditions are necessary to achieve this: calmness, relaxation, and love for oneself and the world. We often get caught up in a ‘vicious circle’ of negative experiences and unresolved emotional pain, thinking that something is wrong with us, but we can pause and recognise the opportunity to view every situation differently. Our bodies are slow and complex, so changes within them cannot be sudden either; that is why there is no ‘miracle pill’ for all skin problems – changes take place gently and gradually. Through conscious breathing therapy, I aim to guide you along the path of inner transformation, to help you feel what has been denied and pushed out of your consciousness, yet still demands attention, causing stress and imbalance in your body – which may first manifest itself as skin problems.
