TCM Acupuncturist and Herbalist, Fertility Support, BSc DipCHM

My name is Ieva Malcevičiūtė – founder of Holístico, a licensed specialist in acupuncture and phytotherapy, specialising in internal medicine and fertility. ​ East Asian medicine has fundamentally changed my understanding of health. It teaches us to view a person as a holistic system, where the body, emotions and environment interact with one another. Western and Eastern medicine are not competing systems and should not be pitted against one another. On the contrary – they can be combined and successfully complement one another. Modern diagnostics and scientific progress provide precision and objectivity, enabling us to assess structures, whilst the Eastern medical model helps to explain functional relationships, the body’s processes and our individual differences. I therefore view advanced medicine as a combination of different methods, where priority is given not to a particular school of thought, but to the individual’s needs and the solution best suited to them.​ ​ Qualifications and professional experience: 2017: Bachelor’s degree in Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture, University of Westminster, United Kingdom.​ 2017: Acupuncture placement at a regional hospital, Hangzhou, China. 2018: Visits to hospitals and clinics, Singapore. 2023: Postgraduate studies in Chinese herbal medicine, United Kingdom. 2023–2024: Lecturer, Acupuncture Training Programme, Klaipėda University. 2025: Advanced Level Diploma in Fertility Support Training, United Kingdom. I continually expand my professional knowledge by attending international seminars. I am a member of international communities of acupuncture specialists and deliver educational lectures to organisations.
