These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of SalonRadar ("the Platform"), operated by Codesomelabs from the Republic of Lithuania. By creating an account or using the Platform you agree to these Terms.

1. Definitions

  • Platform — the SalonRadar website, web application, and any related services at salonradar.com and app.salonradar.com.
  • Customer — a visitor who books or attempts to book an appointment via the Platform.
  • Salon — a business that lists services on the Platform and accepts bookings through it.
  • Booking — a confirmed appointment between a Customer and a Salon, scheduled through the Platform.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By using the Platform you confirm that you meet this requirement and that you have legal capacity to enter binding agreements.

3. Account responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate information at registration and keeping it current.
  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your password.
  • All activity that occurs under your account.

Notify us at [email protected] without delay if you suspect unauthorised access.

4. Role of SalonRadar

SalonRadar is a marketplace that connects Customers with Salons. We are not a party to the appointment contract between a Customer and a Salon. The service itself is performed by the Salon under its own terms.

We do not employ stylists, barbers, therapists, groomers, or any other service providers. Salons are independent businesses.

5. Bookings

When a Customer confirms a booking, a contract is formed directly between the Customer and the Salon. The price shown at confirmation is the price the Salon has set for that service at that time.

Customers must arrive on time and treat Salon staff and premises with respect. Salons must honour confirmed bookings unless they cancel in line with their published policy.

By providing a phone number when booking, the Customer agrees to receive transactional SMS related to that booking — confirmation, cancellation, reschedule, and 24-hour and 2-hour pre-appointment reminders. To stop these messages at any time, reply STOP to any SalonRadar SMS; we will permanently flag the account and stop sending. Standard carrier message and data rates may apply.

6. Cancellations and no-shows

Each Salon publishes its own cancellation policy on its public profile. Customers should review it before booking. SalonRadar enforces the Salon's cancellation policy as published, but disputes about specific cancellations are between the Customer and the Salon.

7. Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. By placing a paid booking you authorise Stripe to charge the payment method you provide, on behalf of the Salon. SalonRadar charges Salons a subscription fee but does not take a per-booking commission from Customers or Salons.

Refunds, where due, are issued by the Salon through the Platform's refund flow.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Platform to harass, defame, or discriminate against any person.
  • Submit false bookings, fake reviews, or otherwise game the marketplace.
  • Attempt to access another user's account, reverse-engineer the Platform, or interfere with its operation.
  • Use automated tools (scrapers, bots) to harvest data from the Platform without our prior written consent.
  • Violate any applicable law.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach this section, with or without notice.

9. Salon-owner terms

Salon owners additionally agree to:

  • Display accurate service information, prices, and availability.
  • Honour confirmed bookings except where their cancellation policy or force majeure applies.
  • Hold all professional licences, insurance, and tax registrations required to operate their business in their jurisdiction.
  • Respond to Customer messages and reviews professionally.

A salon owner who adds their own third-party tracking identifier (for example a Google Analytics measurement ID) in Settings is the data controller for everything those tags collect on their salon pages. The owner must have a lawful basis for that processing, must disclose it in their own privacy notice, and must honour visitors' rights over the resulting data. SalonRadar loads such tags only after the visitor accepts the consent banner shown on that salon's pages, and acts solely as the technical means of delivering them.

10. Content and intellectual property

You retain ownership of content you upload (photos, reviews, service descriptions). By uploading content you grant SalonRadar a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, and distribute that content as needed to operate the Platform.

The Platform itself (software, design, trademarks) is the intellectual property of Codesomelabs.

11. Disclaimers

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure against every possible attack — only that we apply reasonable industry-standard safeguards.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SalonRadar's total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms is limited to the greater of (a) EUR 100 or (b) the amount you paid to SalonRadar in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, or for the actions or omissions of any Salon.

13. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. We may suspend or terminate your account for breach of these Terms, fraud, or to comply with a legal obligation. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (intellectual property, limitation of liability, governing law) survive termination.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced via email or an in-app banner at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Platform after that date constitutes acceptance.

15. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Lithuania, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of Lithuania, except where mandatory consumer protection law gives consumers the right to bring claims in their country of residence.

16. Contact
